Lawal's Advocacy Initiative for the Man, simply known as 'The MAN', is an NGO with specific focus and interests in issues surrounding men in our society. The MAN seeks to bridge this gap by providing a supportive platform for men to access advocacy, support, and welfare initiatives. By challenging harmful stereotypes and promoting a more realistic understanding of masculinity, The MAN aims to empower men to seek help, build stronger relationships, and thrive in their personal and community lives

We believe that when men are mentally resilient, emotionally supported, and professionally empowered, families and communities flourish. Your donation directly fuels this vital foundation.
This unit will handle awareness campaigns, conferences, public and advocacy events that further the mission of the organization.
Support for single fathers, assistance in domestic violence cases where men are victims, paternity fraud awareness and legal support, guidance on DNA testing and fatherhood rights. Also give legal advocacy for men in diaspora facing unfair family laws.
This unit help children and adults, particularly those in the diaspora, reconnect with fathers or father figures they may have been separated from or father with child access denial.
This unit focuses on men who have been convicted or still serving jail terms, creating pathways for their reintegration into society through empowerment initiatives. It also caters for workplace or employer abuse, unfair treatment, and job-related grievances Wrongful accusations (e.g., lecturers accused by students).
Our Counseling & Support unit provides men with a safe space to discuss marital challenges, distress, or emotional trauma, generally emotional counseling, marital issues, and distress support.
A Health & Wellness unit coordinate medical outreach programs, such as prostate cancer screenings, mental health awareness, blood pressure checks, and general health awareness etc. the unit will also oversee substance abuse by men (alcohol, drugs, addiction issues) and help in recovery.
