THE MAN to Begin Planning for Nationwide Awareness Campaigns

Lekki, Lagos – January 2026 – Lawal’s Advocacy Initiative for the Man (THE MAN) has announced the Planning of its nationwide awareness campaigns aimed at addressing the social, legal, and emotional challenges faced by men in Nigeria. The initiative will focus on key issues such as paternity disputes, mental health, and the societal pressures that often leave men isolated and unsupported. Speaking on the campaign, a representative of THE MAN said, “Our mission is to provide men with a platform where they can access guidance, advocacy, and support without fear of stigma. These campaigns will bring awareness to men’s rights, promote responsible use of DNA testing, and encourage open conversations around the challenges men face.” The campaign will kick off with workshops, public sensitization programs, and community outreach initiatives in major cities including Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. Participants will have access to legal advice, counseling resources, and informational sessions on navigating paternity and family-related issues. THE MAN emphasizes that the goal of the awareness campaigns is not to create conflict but to empower men to make informed decisions, seek support when necessary, and promote stronger relationships within families and communities. The organization invites men, community leaders, and stakeholders to join the campaign and participate in building a society where men’s challenges are recognized, understood, and addressed.
